Documents & Formats

Should I send the original or a copy of my document?

A clear digital copy (scan or photo) is enough in most cases, though some institutions may ask to see the original alongside the translation.

Is the official certification included?

Yes — every certified translation includes a signed Certificate of Accuracy from the translator by default. Standard translations don't include certification.

What file formats do you accept?

Most common formats: Word, PDF, PowerPoint, Excel, and standard image formats.

Does a double-sided document count as two pages?

Usually, yes. If both sides contain text to translate, they are counted separately. However, compact documents such as driver's licenses, ID cards, residence permits, and similar cards are generally counted as a single document, even when both sides are translated.

Our Services

What's the difference between standard and certified translation?

Standard translation, done by a native, specialized translator, covers most professional needs. Certified translation includes a signed Certificate of Accuracy and is required for official submissions to government agencies, courts, and other institutions.

Which service do I need — standard, certified, or interpreting?

Standard for everyday professional use; certified for immigration, legal, or administrative submissions; interpreting for live spoken exchanges.

What's the difference between consecutive and simultaneous interpreting?

Consecutive interpreters translate in segments after the speaker pauses — suited to small meetings. Simultaneous interpreters translate in real time using equipment — suited to conferences and large audiences.

Can interpreting be done remotely?

Yes — our interpreters also work by phone or video call.

Are your translators certified?

Yes — certified translations are handled by qualified, vetted translators who sign a Certificate of Accuracy for every document, in line with USCIS and other US institutional requirements.

Validity & Recognition

Is my certified translation valid outside the US?

It depends on the destination country and the requesting institution — legalization of the translator's signature or an apostille may be required. Always confirm requirements with the recipient beforehand.

Do I need an apostille?

It depends on the destination country and the requesting institution. In the US, apostilles for documents originating in the US are typically issued by the Secretary of State's office in the state where the document was issued — timelines vary by state. Apostilles are only valid for countries that are part of the Hague Convention.

What level of legalization does my document need?

Every country and institution has different requirements — check directly with the recipient of your translation to confirm whether they need a certified translation, notarization, or an apostille.

Which countries accept my translation?

Certified translations with a signed Certificate of Accuracy are accepted throughout the US by USCIS, courts, universities, and most government agencies. Acceptance abroad depends on the destination country and recipient — legalization or an apostille may be needed.

Are your translations recognized by specific institutions (USCIS, courts, universities)?

Yes — our certified translations are accepted by USCIS, courts, DMVs, universities, and most government agencies. We recommend confirming any specific requirement with the institution beforehand.

Do you handle academic credential evaluations (like WES)?

Yes — we translate academic records, transcripts, and results for universities and credential evaluation services like WES. The evaluating organization issues its own equivalency determination once it receives your certified translation.

Can you translate my document directly in the destination country instead of the US?

In many cases, yes — and it can save you both time and money. Through our international network, we can often have your document translated directly by a translator recognized in the destination country, rather than routing everything through a single origin point. This can help you avoid extra legalization steps in some cases, and it's often faster and less expensive than the alternative.

Turnaround & Delivery

What are your delivery times?

Both standard and certified translations are typically delivered within 1 business day, with rush delivery as fast as same-day available for urgent requests.

Can I get my translation urgently, in under 24 hours?

Yes — some documents can be translated within the hour in urgent cases, subject to availability.

How much advance notice do you need for interpreting?

Advance booking is required to guarantee an interpreter available in your language and subject area — reach out as soon as possible with your date, location, and context.

How long does an apostilled or legalized translation take?

Apostille processing runs on a separate timeline from translation turnaround and depends on the issuing state office's workload — typically a couple of weeks, though this varies.
